SportsMarkers Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose Of SportsMarkers

SportsMarkers is a platform designed to help high-school athletes showcase their abilities, increase visibility, and connect with organizations seeking athletic talent. The platform may include profile creation, performance insights, rankings, portfolio tools, and communication features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SportsMarkers. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to create an account and participate.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate and complete account information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. SportsMarkers may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content & Data

You retain ownership of the profile information, performance data, videos, photos, media, statistics, achievements, and related content you upload or provide.

By submitting content, you grant SportsMarkers a limited license to process, store, display, and use that content for profile visibility, rankings or evaluations, platform functionality, security, and compliance. SportsMarkers does not claim ownership of your content.

5. Rankings & Evaluations

SportsMarkers may provide proprietary rankings, evaluations, performance insights, or related information. These tools are informational and do not guarantee recruitment, scholarships, roster placement, sponsorships, or any specific outcome.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not submit false or misleading information, upload harmful, offensive, illegal, or unauthorized content, disrupt platform operations, reverse-engineer or copy SportsMarkers technology, or use the platform for unauthorized or unlawful purposes.

7. Sharing Of Information

SportsMarkers may share athlete profiles, insights, and ranking information with schools, recruiters, clubs, teams, scouts, or other organizations actively seeking athletic talent, as described in the Privacy Policy.

SportsMarkers does not sell personal information or share it with unrelated third parties. Optional sensitive information is not shared without explicit consent.

8. Intellectual Property

SportsMarkers branding, software, platform design, systems, and technology are owned by SportsMarkers or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of SportsMarkers is also governed by the SportsMarkers Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, shared, retained, and protected.

10. Termination

SportsMarkers may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, security concerns, fraud, unlawful conduct, or legal requirements. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases.

11. Disclaimer Of Warranties

SportsMarkers is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. SportsMarkers does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, recruitment outcomes, scholarship outcomes, compatibility with every device, or results from use of the platform.

12. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportsMarkers is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, loss of data, lost opportunities, athletic or recruitment outcomes, or third-party issues. SportsMarkers liability will not exceed the amount paid by you in the prior 12 months.

13. Changes To Terms

SportsMarkers may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on the website, and continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Arizona. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
